What is Accessibility?

Accessibility means ensuring that digital content, services, and information can be used by everyone, including people with disabilities. This includes providing clear navigation, readable text, sufficient contrast, alternative text for images, and compatibility with assistive technologies. My goal is to create an inclusive and user-friendly digital experience for all visitors.

Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 28/11/2025

I am working to make my site accessible to people with disabilities.

1. Commitment to Accessibility

Marvin Wehmeier Consulting is committed to ensuring that its website and digital services are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. My goal is to provide an inclusive digital experience in accordance with the relevant Spanish and European accessibility standards.

2. Legal and Regulatory Framework (Spain & EU)

This Accessibility Statement is based on the following applicable standards and regulations:

  • UNE-EN 301 549 – the official Spanish standard for accessibility of ICT products and services, aligned with WCAG 2.1.

  • Law 11/2023 – expanding accessibility requirements to private-sector digital services in Spain.

  • Real Decreto 1112/2018 – Spanish regulation on web accessibility (primarily for public-sector bodies), used as reference for best practices.

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA – international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

While my business is a private sole proprietorship, I strive to apply these standards to ensure an accessible experience for all users.

3. Measures to Support Accessibility

To improve the accessibility of my website, the following measures have been implemented or are in progress:

  • Clear structure and consistent site navigation

  • Use of readable fonts and adequate color contrast following EN 301 549 recommendations

  • Alternative text (alt text) for images and non-text content

  • Keyboard navigation compatibility

  • Compatibility with screen readers and assistive technologies

  • Responsive and mobile-friendly design

  • Ongoing review and improvement of accessibility features

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and improvements will be continuously applied.

4. Current State of Compliance

The website aims to comply with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and UNE-EN 301 549 standards.

However, some content may not yet be fully accessible, including:

  • Certain PDF or downloadable documents

  • Third-party embedded content (outside my control)

  • Occasional minor issues with contrast or text alternatives

I am actively working to address these gaps.

5. Feedback and Contact Information

If you encounter any accessibility issues on this website, please contact me. I welcome your feedback and will make reasonable efforts to fix the issue promptly.

6. Enforcement Procedure

If you believe your request has not been properly addressed, you may file a complaint with the relevant Spanish authority:

Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD)
www.aepd.es

Although primarily a data protection authority, Spain currently directs digital accessibility complaints through this official body.

7. Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is a continuous process. I am committed to regularly reviewing and updating the website to improve usability and accessibility, ensuring compliance with evolving Spanish and European standards.
